Hey! Sorry for the absence!
It's time to tell what is going on =/)
First of all now I'm a student of animation school. I am studying traditional 2d animation and now at home I have the epic chaos of paper and pencils.
Over the past year I have learned that before school I know about animation nothing. I would be glad to show you some animations, but my assignments are still in progress. It's a really long process!

Summer is vacation time in school so I had the opportunity and time to study 3d animation on CGTarian. There are contests and the winner gets a free course. Unexpectedly I was chosen as a winner and now I'm studying online course Physics of Animation. It has recently begun but I think I can already say that it's superbly!It sounds like an advertisement but I'm just really admire it and I would like to tell more about this course, but probably later.

Also lately I spend a lot of time in ZBrush. I finally figured out how it works and this interface... customizable mmm. I can spend hours just placing buttons :}

Well, some girl, as usual. I find that Zbrush is the best way to practice anatomy. I highly recommend, it is great development for skills

I have to say I have accumulated a bunch of unfinished illustrations, but my attention was directed to the study of animation, so I really don't draw in this period much.


One last important thing I have a Tumblr now! It was in test mode for a long time, but now I'm sure I would use it. So welcome!
I have 2 blogs now and I love both of these places, so I decided that the tumblr is for frequent short updates and the blogspot for more substantive monthly posts (probably at the end of each month). I think it will work quite well for me.

argh, I so much want to be active in internet again, hope I can, I will try!

I played with this method of the whole week and I'm not sure that this is what I need, it is pretty slows down my computer =(. So the textures is still in progress.

I've got too many tasks at the studio, so I had very little time to work on the boy.
I'm working on UV's currently. I hope I will make the textures in the next weekend and some blendshapes.

   I feel myself so inertly lately. This summer was too cold, i am sick now, but this summer wasn't good not only because of weather. My grandparents passed. It's a big drama especially for my dad. He too much loved his parents.

   Sorry for not updating! My working practice continues so I'm still very busy. Anyway, I have something to show a little =)

   Yeah, here is a guy! For a long time, this is the first time when I like how it turned out. Men drawing are not so usual to me, it's hard to catch a good facial proportions -.-
   I so much love when you can see brush strokes in paintings, so I tried to make it painterly, feel like I wouldn't want to use color blending for ever!












   And here a picture ( actually they are not very new), where I tried to use some of styles. It was so fun and easy! I have one epic idea to illustrate in this style. I hope I can realize it someday.

P. S. The next few months I will concentrate on the study of anatomy, so do not be surprised if you see some nude paintings for study here, he-he =P

Some new after a long silence.

Don't update here for a long time. October was a bit difficult because of exams, but now I'm a little more free to create some personal work and to learn some things.
I think it's time to start practicing a traditional art, especially in oil painting. I did it last year, but I stopped due to some reasons, so I need to start it again. Finally, I'm going to paint a portrait of my grandfather this weekend, he asked me about it for so long.
Here, a small watercolor. I did it last week, it must be something like a poster for my next animated film (start to do it only next summer I think), I tried to catch the atmosphere of this. I usually work from dark to light, so the watercolor is hard but interesting :)






The picture below is a concept character for my student's work, they had to be converted into 3D. But this time I have a completely different idea for a student's work.

And yes, I study the Maya, I think most of the basics already learned. Absolutely love this program. Btw I will do one of these characters in Maya, for the study.

Image below is a very spontaneous thing. I wanted to draw something on Halloween, but I have no good ideas yet. So here 2 portraits (again). The picture on the left was unsuccessful, too big eyes that would be seen a pumpkin in the eye. Portrait on the right I like more, but it has no idea. I recorded the process of this drawing, will put it soon on YouTube.

painting without pain, such things happen?

I bought intuos4 last week, wow, I feel that I killed my hand all these years with my very old tablet. Now I just can not tear myself away from a new tablet and I really could paint all day and not feel pain, is happiness!
I played a little with the program Corel Painter Sketch PAD and finished one of the sketches.



I'm trying to find other ways to create animations on the computer because I have always used the Tvpaint animation but it lacks some very important tools (or I just do not know about them). So here a little and very rough test. I'm trying to combine PaintTool SAI and Photoshop, still not perfect and it is very difficult to calculate the timing (. Maybe I need to think about some other program hmmm...

I use PaintTool SAI the first time. It's somewhere between Photoshop and Painter. Absolutely love this program for the wonderful colors and convenient interface. ^^
